Chris & Taylor's Story...
Our story started working together 21 years ago as colleagues turned friends then family. We worked side by side for 7 years for a Regis corporation. We decided to leave together and start our own business venture. We found our perfect spot in downtown Palm Harbor in the 500 square foot cottage known as Avenue Salon.
Since then we have expanded our space to 1700 square feet, purchased the business, and partnered with Aveda. With all the growth and change we knew we had to update the name. We wanted something that described the amazing, organic products, color and culture of Aveda. Salon Raw, we feel is the perfect name. We believe wholeheartedly in the concept of giving back to our community, embracing what is real and making the world a better place one client at a time.
We have come a long way and have invested our heart's and soul's in our Salon. We owe a million thanks to our families for their support and patience. As well as our wonderful clients who have supported us.
Meet Our Team
Jess...
Jess attended the Casal Aveda Institute in Austintown, Ohio and graduated from there in 2008. After graduating, she did mostly freelance hairstyling. She then took a small break from doing hair for a bit, while raising her boys. After moving to Florida, she decided to get back into the hair industry to pursue her dreams of becoming a hair stylist. When she’s not doing hair, you can find her at the beach with her family. Jess’s favorites to do in the salon are haircuts and highlights, although she pretty much loves it all!
Lea Anna...
Lea Anna graduated from Aveda institute Tampa Bay. She loves doing highlights and hand-tied extensions. During her time off she loves spending time with her golden doodle and cat. Lea Anna grew up spending summers in Palm harbor and moved here full time from Tennessee five years ago. We are so excited to have her part of our team!
Heather...
Heather has been an AVEDA hairstylist for 5 years. She loves everything about hair!
She specializes in CURLY hair and is all about edgy short cuts like mullets and shags❤️
She is a cat mama who loves to read and Netflix. When she’s not at the salon she is always down for thrifting, brunching, or going to a concert.
